Founding guitarist/vocalist, Magnus Pelander, says of ‘IDAG’: “This album will reap souls and destroy wicked minds. And perhaps mend a couple of broken ones.”

  1. Idag (today) - Fuzzy guitars. Production sounds immaculate. Killer opening riff. Lyrics not in English. Doomy verses. Lots of wah on the lead guitar parts. Halfway through the song, change of tempo. Kinda funky - psychedelic. Great song.
  2. Drömmar av is (dreams of ice)- Chunky riff; lots of fuzz. Love the vocal melody line. My head is bobbin'. Short song.
  3. Drömmen om död och förruttnelse (the dream of death and decay) - This song is a bit more muted that the first two. Perhaps quieter in tone, fuzz and energy. Seems intentional. Great drum fills around the halfway mark.
  4. Om du vill (if you want)- Solo guitar and vocal intro is sweet. I love that the guitar is slightly out of tune but not enough to be distracting.
  5. Gläntan (the clearning)- Beautiful acoustic piece.
  6. Burning Cross - Back to fuzzy psych sounds. The chorus is slow and slightly jazzy. First song in English; it's about Jesus' death. Bridge section is weird but cool. Question, what does this lyric mean: "The names suit their faces but their faces have no name"
  7. Irreligious Flamboyant Flame - This track also seems quieter as well. Kinda muted. More of the same; fuzzy, groovy. Great.
  8. Christmas - Acoustic opening. Sinister. Shit's dark. Song seems deeply personal. Great song; vibes are real.
  9. Spirit - That fuzz; so grime-y! Slow tempo riffs. Love the vocals. Delicate and sad. And a bit hopeful?
  10. Om du vill (Slight Return) -  Same as before but this time on an actual acoustic guitar?
